I stood among old shoes, a full notebook, an empty mirror, and the paper with my name — needing nothing. Then someone knocked on the studio door.
I set bà Lan's notebook on the wooden chair, beside the old shoes, and did not open it again.
The paper fell; I picked it up and set it on the table.
I danced its name exactly — then my body stopped at a beat I never wrote. I don't know if I continue or let that pause become the new dance.
