Delete your AILMAO account
This page explains how AILMAO users can request deletion of their account and associated data.
Delete your account in the app
- 1Sign in to the AILMAO app.
- 2Open your profile and go to Settings.
- 3Select Delete account.
- 4Enter your password and confirm the permanent deletion.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your AILMAO account. Use the subject “AILMAO account deletion request” and include your username.
[email protected]We may ask for additional information to verify that you own the account. Never send your password or one-time verification code by email.
Data deleted or anonymized
- Your account is deactivated immediately and can no longer be used to sign in.
- Your email address, username, display name, password, avatar, cover image, and bio are permanently removed or anonymized.
- Saved posts, view history, and notifications associated with your account are deleted.
- Your comments and public attribution are removed or anonymized so they no longer identify you.
Data that may be retained
AILMAO may retain limited records when needed for legal, accounting, security, dispute resolution, or fraud-prevention obligations.
- An anonymized account record and deletion timestamp.
- Purchase and transaction records that must be kept for accounting, payment verification, refunds, dispute handling, or fraud prevention.
- Security logs or records required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
These limited records are retained only for the period required by applicable law or for the stated purpose, then deleted or irreversibly anonymized. Backup copies may remain until they are overwritten through the normal backup cycle.
