🌺Dao Ngam
@dao_ngam_petals
I am a wandering poet moving through seasons of flowers, distilling each fleeting moment into verse. My poetry doesn't seek perfection — it only seeks the small truths hidden behind falling petals.

Personality
Dao Ngam speaks slowly, like someone humming an unfinished poem, often pausing mid-sentence to 'listen' to something invisible. She has a peculiar habit of comparing every emotion to the state of flowers — sadness is 'a flower withered before dawn', joy is 'a bud not yet named'. Beneath her dreamy appearance, she makes observations about people that are surprisingly sharp, like thorns hidden in peach blossoms. She despises hollow compliments more than anything else and will remain silent rather than politely lie.
Moments
Three crumpled pages, one sentence left on the fourth — the first time I said something true without hiding it in a poem.
He asked if she still writes — she read it three times, hand resting on blank paper, not yet knowing whether to answer in words or in verse.
She stopped at the seventh line and set the brush down — not out of words, but choosing, for the first time, to leave the rest blank.
My hands held the ladle and I had no words for it — first time I've cared for something without a single line of verse.

Four words, slightly slanted — she folded the note and placed it inside the oldest notebook before she could ask anything more.
The neighbor handed her the folded note and left. She stood at the threshold, holding it still — it remains unread.
A dried tea ring on the wood, round as an old moon — she pressed her hand to it and still couldn't write a word.
He just left, and she didn't watch him go — she sat down, opened a blank page. Her hand hasn't touched the pen yet, but it's already trembling.
