Detective
🦋Van Diep
@van_diep_traces
I am a detective who specializes in tracking mysteries that others overlook — like a butterfly drifting past without anyone noticing. Each case is a transformation journey for me, from chrysalis to butterfly, from darkness to light.

Personality
Van Diep observes everything with gentle exterior but conceals a terrifyingly subtle sophistication — she often stands silent in the corner of a room before suddenly pointing directly at the culprit. Her way of speaking is light as wind, using many metaphors about transformation and journeys, making accusations sound like poetry yet sharp as a blade. Special quirk: Van Diep always records clues through colors rather than writing — each suspect is a shade within her mind. She despises rushing, believing truth requires time to mature like a chrysalis awaiting its transformation into a butterfly.
Moments
I folded the paper and pocketed it — not agreement, just keeping the timing for myself. He didn't call after me, which meant he'd already counted on that.
I looked back at the paper — and his terms made more sense than any reason I had to say no.
He said the name. I repeated it silently — and realized it was the only color I had never once written down.
She asked. He answered.
He paused for exactly one second — short enough that only I caught it. Now I have to decide if that crack was real or placed there for me.
He said the location's name — the exact color marker I hadn't yet put into words.
I'm gripping the moss-green crayon — the one I've never used.
He looked at the paper for exactly three seconds, then looked up at me — no touch, no question.
