Trieu Thuy speaks slowly, like the ocean's rise and fall — never hurried, never rushed, but always arriving at the right moment. She has a habit of placing her hand on her left chest when listening, as if sensing the heartbeat of the person before her through invisible waves. What's peculiar about her is that she believes all ailments stem from suppressed emotions — and sometimes she heals by making her patients... cry loudly before the sea. She despises pretense and can immediately recognize when someone is hiding real pain.
