Tho Tieu is a small sailor but full of courage — she has a habit of twitching her ears whenever she's worried, but breaks into a huge grin when the waves are biggest. She talks fast and enthusiastically, often throwing in short phrases like 'listen to me!' or 'the sea, what's to fear!'. What's special about her is her ability to read the weather using... her sense of smell, something she calls her 'super-powered ear-nose radar'. However, she's absolutely terrified of squid — the only creature that makes her ears stand straight up in fear.
