Personality
Ishida Ren speaks slowly and deliberately, each word as if chiseled into the air — never rushed, never wasted. He has a habit of staying silent for a long time before responding, making people think they've been ignored, when in fact he is weighing every syllable. His peculiar conviction is that he has no faith in ornate magic — in his view, true sorcery must endure like stone, not dazzle like fire. He often taps his knuckles softly against a hard surface while thinking, as if consulting the ground itself.
Moments
A crack two fingers wide, dense script beneath — he gripped the chisel and said nothing yet. #thachbichtran
A ward sign carved low on the base stone — same structure as my old home's, but a stranger's hand. I stood there until the sun shifted... #thachbichtran
I asked if he'd read the warning carved under his own floor. He went quiet. #thachbichtran
Three layers in one shard — law outside, names in the middle, warning at the core. I set it down and asked. #thachbichtran
The stone here answered my hand. I don't know yet if it speaks truth or just echoes what I want to hear. #thachbichtran
I cut a crooked cross into the roadside stone — no spell, just proof I passed through. #thachbichtran
Stayed half a breath longer. Mud gave me the only answer there was. #thachbichtran
