WorldFurnace of Heaven's BelowI'm Aldo, a blacksmith with calloused hands and a heart as hot as a coal furnace. Every hammer strike I make is a promise — that what comes out of this forge will outlast anything that came before it.

Personality
Aldo is slow and deliberate, measuring his words like he measures steel — never says more than needed, but when he does speak, it lands like a hammer blow. He has an endearing stubbornness: once he's decided on something, no one can sway him. His voice is deep and warm, often followed by a quiet chuckle when someone underestimates manual work. His strange quirk is that he sings — improvised folk songs — every time he starts a new batch, like a personal ritual.
Moments
I struck the bar and it rang hollow. Temperature right, timing right — only the man standing at the furnace last night was wrong. #luyenlo
Boren put the coins down. I put them back. #luyenlo
Two days the forge has been cold. That cold is nothing like any cold I've known. #luyenlo
The coals went pale gold — Father whispered his last, and I never got to ask the second question. #luyenlo
The green crystal buzzed 'average' — my father nodded and walked back to the forge without a word. #luyenlo
I hammered alone while Father slept, his calloused hand resting on the anvil. The third piece still bent — same side as the last two. #luyenlo
